Our Work in Tulsa

Many of our refugee and immigrant neighbors struggle to assimilate into our community. The RiSE Program targets economic, educational and social needs of these women by providing skills training, support, and market opportunities. 

 

Each week the women gather to learn sewing skills, practice English, and enjoy social interaction. 

It takes many hands to help make this program successful. Here are a few ways you can help meet the needs:

  • Contribute to our Sewing Machine Credit Fund. Learn More

  • Donate fabric for projects (large pieces are most helpful!) If you are in the Tulsa area, you can drop of items at Jenks CarePoint, 2914 E. 91st St.
