Host Homes
Have a spare room or space?
Host Homes are a community-based, Temporary Housing Solution for Refugees awaiting permanent Housing. Through this act of hospitality, hosts provide a safe place to rest and acclimate to a new culture and community.
Help provide a family with stability.
By making room in your home, you’re offering much-needed stability to a newly arrived refugee and becoming one of the first people in their new country to help them get to know their community. New arrivals stay in host homes while our housing team works to secure a permanent apartment—sometimes for just a few days, and sometimes for a couple of weeks. Hosting provides a safe and welcoming space during this transition while giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, share cultures, and help a newly arrived family begin their life in Tulsa.
