A welcoming, creative space to practice English through conversation and hands-on crafts.
Description
Craft & Conversation is a relational program designed to support refugee and immigrant women through creativity, conversation, and community. Using simple crafts like crochet, jewelry making, and watercolor, women practice English in a low-pressure, welcoming environment. The program reduces isolation, builds confidence, and honors the skills women bring with them—creating space for learning, leadership, and belonging.

Fridays 10:00 – 12:00 PM, Starting January 9th

Additional Info
Participants are encouraged to complete the registration form when possible so we can prepare enough supplies.
Volunteers & Donors:
We gladly accept craft supplies from our wishlist, personal craft stashes, or other stores. If you’re unsure whether an item will work, please email anna@risingvillage.org and we’ll be happy to advise.
