RISE Sewing Program
Welcome to RISE, the Refugee Sewing Enterprise — an economic empowerment program in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that focuses on helping refugees and immigrants build skills, confidence, and community through free sewing classes.
Sewing Classes
Our RISE classes give local refugee and immigrant women the opportunity to develop or strengthen sewing skills through free classes. We offer classes for different levels of sewing experience. To see what classes and workshops we are currently running visit our programs and classes page.
Handmade Goods Worshop
All the goods in our online store are made by women in our RISE Sewing Program. Each purchase provides direct income to the woman who created the product. We use upcycled materials to create handmade, one-of-a-kind sewn goods.
