Recently, while on vacation in Colorado, I downloaded books from the Kindle store to my iPad. It’s been ages since I’ve done this, since I prefer the crisp pages of a new book to the glare of a screen with a fresh download. But the tiny town we were in has no bookstore, so I resorted to my tablet screen. It was amazingly easy, and in less than 10 seconds I had purchased a $9.99 book that I thoroughly enjoyed. At the same time, I was a little bothered by how easy it was. It wouldn’t take much for me to drop $40 in 40 seconds. And on and on it could go.
